Due to the great response to the Period and Ovulation Tracker, I want to get your ideas for what useful (hopefully medical) programs you would like to see created. All my programs will be free with continued updates.
I just received my invitation to the beta of Google’s Android App Creator, which is a nice way to rapidly develop simpler applications and I want to test this out.
So, email ideas to tommygustafson@gmail.com!

Thank you to everyone that has found the program useful and it has surpassed the 290,000 download mark with a pretty impressive (pat on the back) continued user rate of 40+%.

Hello everyone,
I wanted to summarize the latest rounds of updates for the P&O Tracker!
- Ability to save / restore data to SD card
- Enabled program to be installed on any version of Android and any screen size to support the new slew of phones / devices with big and small screens
- Added “Options” to menu and will add in useful options with user feedback. Currently have ability to change background color
- Add Mobclix ads to bottom of screen to help keep all my programs free for the future and support continued updates
Please email me at tommygustafson@gmail.com with ideas for the P&O Tracker or for any other medical applications.

Whew, it was actually not that tricky in the end. I will be uploading the updated version tomorrow that allows for backing up your information to SD card and then restoring that information.
This will be first implemented in the non-graphical “Period and Ovulation Tracker” and then rolled into the graphical “P&O Tracker 2″ very soon.

I will be updating the site to include information about the Period and Ovulation Tracker 2, that is now free, which offers the same accurate estimation algorithm along with a new touch-friendly graphical calendar interface.
Also, working on adding the ability to export your data to SD card

Please excuse a few missing items as I move over the data to the new site. I also want to say thank you to Google for supporting free application developers!
